Discover the Basque Coast
The spectacular cliffs of the eastern coast of Gipuzkoa hide millions of years of history in their rock layers, which have been exposed thanks to the action of the waves of the Bay of Biscay. This international point of geological interest can be discovered during our first stop in Zumaia.
After lunch, we will head for Getaria,
a delightful fishing village that seems to come from a fairy tale. We will walk through its narrow streets and go up the hill known as the “the Mouse of Getaria” for its peculiar form. At the top, as well as visiting vineyards of chacolí (a white wine produced in the Basque Country) we will enjoy a great view of the Basque coast.
